Holly’s Heart Foundation held it's fourth annual Holly’s Heart Hero & Remembrance Walk to honor the heroes who have saved lives through organ donation. Thank you all for your contributions, attendance, and support! We were happy to have another amazing turnout for games, food, and our Remembrance Walk. Holly’s Heart Foundation held it's third annual HHF Hero Walk to honor the heroes who have saved lives through organ donation. Carmen Blake, mother of Tim Blake (a HHF Hero who saved 4 lives), was a guest on CBS News (Baltimore) for a Donate Life Month along with the recipient of Tim’s heart, Phyllis Weissblum. Carmen and Phyllis shared their story with the WJZ team, which can be found below.

We are thankful that the weather held out for us and were happy to host over 100 walkers in attendance at Gilbert Run Park for games, food, and our Remembrance Walk. Holly’s Heart Foundation is a proud recipient of a 2022 The Power of Change grant provided by the Community Awareness of Rappahannock Electric Charity, Inc.

It is through the generosity of the Rappahannock Electric Cooperative member-owners who round-up their electric bills through The Power of Change program, that the CARE Charity can award grants to organizations like ours.
